Cory Lawrence
I’m Cory Lawrence, a composer, multi-instrumentalist and content creator.
From assisting recording sessions for the likes of Genshin Impact, Call the Midwife and artists such as David Gilmour, to composing for video games, amassing an audience and recording with an orchestra, I built a reputation on being dependable, easy to work with and a consistently delivering high quality music.
This has culminated in composing for numerous video games, tv and film projects. Highlights include composing two tracks which were recorded by the London Contemporary Orchestra: and published by Abbey Road Masters, creating music for the hugely successful community video game, Project: Eden’s Garden, and composing for several ambitious upcoming video games.
I not only studied Music Production and Sound Engineering at the Abbey Road Institute, but also worked as a Technician and assisted on high profile recording sessions from the likes of Genshin Impact, Call the Midwife and artists such as Gary Barlow and David Gilmour.
I built my audience from creating a YouTube channel dedicated to video game music called Everything Fantasy. This not only kickstarted my career as a composer, but established myself as a highly skilled and passionate composer and community leader, reaching total views of almost 2 million.
My obsession with video game music has even taken me to teach video game music and implementation at schools such as the Abbey Road Institute and the Art’s Council funded project, Unsigned and Gifted. I spoke about what makes video game music so special and brought in my expertise of the process of making game music.
My aim is to make music that transcends the project itself. Music that listeners resonate with both within and outside of the project.
